Reporting

 Alert procedure

Since June 2023, TEC has had a reporting procedure and policy in place which allows its workers, suppliers and other partners to report - without fear of reprisal - any violations or concerns regarding compliance with legal or regulatory requirements that apply to the TEC and its activities.

Who is it for?

This policy applies to TEC staff members, as well as to anyone who provides services to TEC (such as our freelancers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, as well as to our shareholders and members of the administrative, management and supervisory bodies, volunteers and interns).

What is it for?

Reports may concern, for example, violations of rules governing public procurement, competition law and state aid laws, financial services, corporation tax rules, environmental protection, food, product and transport safety, public health, nuclear energy, consumer protection, privacy and personal data protection, network and information systems security, social security fraud and tax fraud.

How can I submit a report?

  1. A report can be submitted, anonymously or otherwise, to the TEC's legal department, by email to [email protected]. If you use this method, we ask you to please describe the facts as precisely as possible and provide any evidence that may be useful.
  2. Our Legal department will issue an acknowledgement of receipt to the person who submitted the report within seven days.
  3. Our Audit department (with the support of the Legal department) will then follow up on the report in an impartial manner. It will take the necessary steps to verify the accuracy of the allegations brought to its attention and, where appropriate, will do its best to ensure that appropriate action is taken.
  4. Our Legal department will contact the author of the report again with feedback within three months after the date of acknowledgement of receipt at the latest. In exceptional circumstances, this period may be extended to six months (in which case the whistle-blower will be informed).
  5. Finally, the report will be filed in a register specifically dedicated to this purpose, the confidentiality of which is ensured and to which access is strictly limited.

For more information on our whistle-blowing procedure, please read our whistle blowing and whistle-blower protection policy (pdf in french) which can be accessed at any time on our website.

If you have any questions about this policy, please contact TEC's legal department by email at [email protected].
